WindPax: Portable Wind Turbines

The final designs for manufacturability are in from our manufacture and they look great! Tooling is now finalized and things are moving forward. Note that these are now designed to meet the demand of large orders and specifications of the large big box stores. This means you are getting a superior product that big name retailers will soon be carrying. The good news is you will get these same units first before anyone else and at a fraction of the retail cost. This project has progressed from a small team building individual collapsible wind turbines to a large scale operation and this all happened with the support of you, our backers. Although it has extended our production schedule we are now getting some of the best partnerships, suppliers and manufacturing which in turn will help get the best possible product out to you.  As it turns out every company involved in the development of the product gave us a best case scenario for turnaround times and we are finding that, like most products, attention to detail takes time. We hope you fully understand why the production time has been extended.  We are dealing with a number of highly qualified industrial manufacturers each of which having there own production schedules. This means we can work them in now that we have finalized the tooling designs. We will let you know the final production schedule as soon as we know and we believe once you seen the final design you will be as thrilled as we are.

We still have some backers that need to fill out the backer kit survey (If you haven’t received the email please let us know). Please fill these out at your convenience. This will help us get final counts for products and accessories. For those of you that have asked about the forest green a plastic sample we are looking to use is shown below. This is to give you all an idea of what the forest green color looks like.
